Adam is the anchor of our family. He's the level headed one with common sense that keeps all of us grounded. He is a hard worker and perfectionist. We love that about him :) He stays sane by working out with dedication- keeping a good physique and always looking good. His favorite store is Buckle and he keeps a good collection of distressed jeans, Obey t-shirts and RVCA stuff. Always looking good.
He is a Jeep Wrangler fanatic and is on his 4th Jeep- a black Rubicon that he takes very good care of. He hopes to pass it on to Joselyn when she's 16 so she has a cool car to drive. So sweet. By then we'll probably be on our 7th or 8th Jeep and Landen will have one too. Just a guess. The radio in his Jeep is always tuned to 630 AM Talk Radio. Always listening to Glen Beck or Rush.
When he can, he also loves to bring out his guitar and play. We all love that. He's written quite a few songs and is amazingly poetic and talented. But don't ever ask him to sing for you- he's a little shy about sharing his talent ;) He loves to listen to a wide array of music but his favorites include Coldplay, Dashboard Confessional, Weezer, Jack Johnson and his personal friend Freddy Mullins. Look him up!
He loves Donatos Pizza, Cheddars Cookie Monsters and brownies. He loves a good steak too- has to have his protein. He is a talented chef in the making and seems to do most of the cooking around here. He makes great curries and omellettes especially!
He also loves a good movie and TV shows. #1 favorite is Smallville although he's also into Man Vs.Wild, Chuck and all those other man type shows. It would probably surprise you though that he also likes American Pickers and Pawn Stars- two History Channel shows about cool stuff being found in junk heeps and people pawning/selling really cool stuff. The Iron Man movies were made just for him it seems. He has a blue ray copy, a copy on his iPad and a copy on his iPhone so he can whip it out to watch a clip at any given time.
He's a huge UK fan. He can make something out of anything like McGyver and the kids especially like the slide he makes out of the couch, chair and ottoman in the living room. The kids love to climb all over him like he's a horse and he makes a great ferocious beast for Joselyn when she plays Belle. Landen wants to be just like him. When Adam has his laptop out, he wants to get his toy one out. If Adam sits down on the couch, he wants to sit by him. He even wants to dress like him with "shoes like daddy" and shirts with distressed jeans. They are best buds.
One thing we love about him most is that he is a very giving person and a friend to all. He's also very humble and doesn't like to be put on the spot- which is probably why if he ever sees this he will probably make me take it down ;)
